We’re celebrating textiles throughout March at the Horry County Museum! Join us Tuesday, March 8^th at 1 PM as local quilter Dot Kenney shares about Quilts of Valor and talks about quilts from her personal collection.

Dot Kenney began sewing on a Singer trundle machine at the age of 10. She has made wedding, prom, and christening dresses and has sewn all her own clothes and made clothing for family and friends. She first heard about Quilts of Valor in January 2020 at a charity knitting class. Prior to QOV, she had made one quilt, but now makes toppers and helps with local presentations.
