Horry County Museum Lecture Series: Hurricane Preparedness Talk

May 22, 2021 @ 1:00 pm

Warmer weather means the start of summer at the Grand Strand but it also means that hurricane season is coming. Join Thomas Bell, Public Information Officer with Horry County Emergency Management, as he discusses what you need to do to be prepared. Visitors will also have a look at what the Emergency Operations Center does during a storm to ensure Horry County is ready for impacts. Whether you are new to the area, or just need a few refreshers on preparedness, this presentation will provide you with steps to get through the season. Come with questions!

The program will be held on May 22nd at 1 PM in the McCown Auditorium located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC. This event is free and open to the public.
