Natural History

The museum has a room dedicated to the natural history of Horry County. In the Educational Encounter Room, you'll find hands on exhibits of local Science for learners of every age. The exhibits, in the Educational Encounter Room, are constantly rotating. Below is a list of what we commonly offer:

The Encounter Room offers the students the opportunity to study natural history in a "hands-on" environment. It offers teachers the grade-level educational materials that reinforce what the students are learning.
