Discussion on Homo naledi Fossils at the Horry County Museum

The Horry County Museum will host a discussion by CCU Anthropology faculty on the Homo naledi (meaning “Star”) fossil recently discovered in South Africa. We will watch several video clips about the deep cave excavation and examine 3D printed casts of the fossils to understand what this discovery means for human evolution. This presentation will be held October 8, 2016 and begins at 1 PM in the McCown Auditorium at the Horry County Museum located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC. This lecture is free and open to the public.
