Experience life on the one horse family farm in Horry County from 1900-1955 at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm. A large part of farm life in the first half of the twentieth century was old-fashioned syrup making. Cooking down the raw juice into sweet cane syrup became a celebration and gathering for the community. Join us to relive that celebration at the L. W. Paul Living History Farm Saturday, November 18th from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm as staff and volunteers will be making syrup. Traditional demonstrations will take place throughout the day including grinding corn, blacksmithing, cooking on a wood stove, butter making and more.
The L. W. Paul Living History Farm is located at 2279 Harris Short Cut Road in Conway, SC. For more information, please call (843) 365-3596 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
