The Horry County Museum and The AVX Foundation present a lecture by ‘Fessa John Hook. ‘Fessa Hook will be speaking on the South Carolina State Dance, the Shag, on August 15, 2015. The program will feature demonstrations of some of the steps from the Shag and begins at 1 pm in the McCown Auditorium located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC. This event is free and open to the public.

I’m new to the area, and found the museum recently. Magnificent mission, with the most interesting material being displayed. Your lectures/presentations are superb.
