The Horry County Museum continues its Documentary Matinee Series this December, featuring films from the museum’s collection. The films will be shown on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM and will continue throughout the remainder of the year.
December films include Back to the Battlefield: Remembering D-Day (December 7th), Season of Valor: The Battle of the Bulge (December 14th), both sponsored by Goldfinch Funeral Services, Coastal Carolina University, HTC, and Joseph Sanders Dentistry of Conway. Discovering Dave: Spirit Captured in Clay (December 21st) about enslaved potter David Drake from Edgefield, South Carolina, produced by George Wingard and Mark Albertin and released through the Savannah River Archaeological Research Program. Animal Planet’s Tanked episode: Pete Rose Scores a Tank, featuring the Horry County Museum, will show on December 28th.
Films will be shown in the McCown Auditorium at the Horry County Museum, located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC. Showings are free and open to the public.
