The Horry County Museum will show Lions in Blue & Gray Saturday, February 6, 2016 in the McCown Auditorium. This locally produced film, sponsored by CCU, Goldfinch Funeral Home, HTC, and J. Joseph Sanders Dentistry, tells the story of generals Joshua Chamberlain and Stonewall Jackson.

As Colonel of the 20th Maine Infantry, Chamberlain is credited by many as saving the battle of Gettysburg for the Union Army through his defense of Little Round Top. Stonewall Jackson was renowned as a southern military genius and was known as General Robert E. Lee’s “right arm” before his death following the battle of Chancellorsville.

This film begins at 1 PM at the Horry County Museum located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC and is free and open to the public.
