The Horry County Museum and The AVX Foundation present a lecture by Capt’n. Sandy Vermont. Drawing from the stories and narratives of Native American and African American cultures, Capt’n. Sandy will share ways in which mankind has relied and ‘walked’ with Mother Nature throughout history. His presentation will also include tips on gardening and forgotten practices in farming. The program begins at 1 pm on April 9, 2016 and will be held in the McCown Auditorium located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC. This event is free and open to the public.
