The Horry County Museum and The AVX Foundation present a lecture by Dr. Hal Holmes. Dr. Holmes will be giving a presentation on The Art of Emily Esdaile Weston: Hagley Plantation, Snow Hill, and the Waccamaw in the Time of the American Civil War on November 22, 2014. The program begins at 2 pm in the McCown Auditorium located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC. This event is free and open to the public.

I’ve just visited your collection installed at the Noble Gallery , Brookgreen Gardens. It was delightful.
What an amazing talent Mrs. Weston created… Thank you for sharing it.
Is there a place to view these drawings online? Or perhaps listen to an i depth lecture regarding the background of these pieces ?
