SUMMARY:How Does the Garden Grow? Organic Gardening at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm
DESCRIPTION:Experience life on the “one horse farm” in Horry County from 1900-1955 at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm. Join us on April 24th from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM for a program on gardening where visitors can learn about growing a garden using heirloom varieties of vegetables and only organic fertilizers. At this program\, visitors will learn about weeding and looking for insect damage. \nThe L. W. Paul Living History Farm is open Tuesday-Saturday 9 AM-4 PM and teaches the history of the Horry County farm family. The farm is free and open to the public and is located at the corner of Hwy 701 North and Harris Short Cut Road in Conway\, SC. For more information\, call the L. W. DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Horry County Museum Documentary Film Series continues with a locally produced film by Nelson and Sam Thomas about the history of Aynor\, South Carolina. Told through interviews and photographs\, this 70 minute film tells the story of the town’s incorporation and history. \nThe film is free to the public and will be shown at 1:00 PM\, Wednesday\, April 24th\, at the Horry County Museum\, located at 805 Main Street in Conway. \nThe Horry County Museum Documentary Film Matinees will continue throughout 2019.
