SUMMARY:Christmas at the Farm
DESCRIPTION:Experience life on the family farm in Horry County from 1900-1955 at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm. On December 7th\, see how the farm family would have prepared for the Christmas season. Visit the farmhouse throughout the day to see seasonal activities including making candy\, cooking on the wood burning stove\, and decorating the Christmas tree. Other demonstrations include making syrup from sugar cane\, a sawmill demonstration from 11 am until noon\, blacksmithing\, and traditional music under the syrup shed from 1 pm-3 pm. \nThe L.W. Paul Living History Farm is open Tuesday-Saturday 9 AM-4 PM and teaches the history of the Horry County farm family from 1900-1955. The Farm is free and open to the public and is located at the corner of Hwy 701 North and Harris Shortcut Road in Conway\, SC. For more information\, please contact the L. W.
