DESCRIPTION:“Repair\, reuse\, make do\, and don’t throw anything away” was a common motto during the Great Depression. This way of thinking applied to many aspects of life\, including the creation and use of textiles. Join us on Tuesday\, March 17th at 1 pm as we discuss how feed and flour sacks were reused to make a variety of items around the house\, including quilts\, clothing and more. \nThe program will be held at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm\, located at 2279 Harris Short Cut Road\, Conway SC. This program is free and open to the public\, seating will be available.
