SUMMARY:Pat Sprecher: Scrappy Quilts (Cancelled)
DESCRIPTION:The Horry County Museum will host a free program by local quilter Pat Sprecher on Friday\, March 20th at 1 pm on creating Scrappy Quilts. Join us to view different examples of scrappy quilts and learn about the many types of patterns that can be used! \nPat took a class several years ago on scrappy quilts by Augusta Cole and fell in love with her patterns. She has made several of her scrappy curved log cabins\, snappy scrappy stars and snappy square quilts. While Pat has kept a few for herself\, she mainly uses these patterns to use scraps for her charity sewing\, which she feels is a perfect way to not only use up scraps\, but provide for those in need. \nThe program will begin at 1:00 pm in the Museum Classroom\, located at 805 Main Street\, Conway SC.
