Part of the Carolina Stories Series by SCETV\, this film explores Brookgreen Gardens\, one of South Carolina’s most beloved landmarks\, located in Murrells Inlet\, near Myrtle Beach. History\, nature\, and art come together in a program that is both beautiful and informative\, revealing Brookgreen’s enduring importance to the Palmetto State. A distinctive collection of American figurative sculpture\, education programs for all ages\, dazzling gardens\, rare natural habitats\, a long and fascinating history—are the things that make Brookgreen Gardens such a unique treasure\, nestled between the Waccamaw River and the sea. \nThe film is free to the public and will be shown at 1:00 PM\, Wednesday\, August 26th\, at the Horry County Museum\, located at 805 Main Street in Conway. \nThe Horry County Museum Documentary Film Matinees will continue throughout 2020.
