SUMMARY:Hurricane Hugo: Storm of the Century
DESCRIPTION:The 2022 Horry County Museum Documentary Film Series continues with the South Carolina ETV film\, Hurricane Hugo: Storm of the Century. Hurricane Hugo made landfall north of Charleston sometime around midnight September 22\, 1989. A category 4 storm\, Hugo caused significant damage along the South Carolina coast. This film explores the impact of Hugo five years after it hit South Carolina. \nThe film is free to the public and will be shown at 1:00 PM\, Wednesday\, September 21st\, at the Horry County Museum\, located at 805 Main Street in Conway. \nThe Horry County Museum Documentary Film Matinees will continue throughout 2022.
