Experience life on the one horse family farm in Horry County from 1900-1955 at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm. Join us for Wash Day on Tuesday, October 29th from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM to see how clothes would have been washed using a scrub board and wash pot. From 11 AM-12 PM Wayne Skipper will be giving a demonstration of “re-shucking” a corn husk mop and explain why these mops worked so well for farms.
A free, hour long, guided tour of the farm will be available to the public starting at 3:00 PM.
The L. W. Paul Living History Farm is open Tuesday-Saturday 9 AM-4 PM and teaches the history of the Horry County farm family from 1900-1955. The farm is free and open to the public and is located at the corner of Hwy 701 North and Harris Short Cut Road in Conway, SC. For more information, call the L. W.
