The Horry County Museum will host a discussion by Coastal Carolina Univiersity Anthropology faculty on the Homo naledi (meaning “Star”) fossils discovered in South Africa on Saturday, January 12^th. Participants will watch several video clips about the deep cave excavation and examine 3D printed casts of the fossils to understand what this discovery means for human evolution.
